On Air Sign

I regularly contribute to mainstream media via articles in the Mail Online, Psychologies and Top Sante magazines. With a focus on how psychology relates to health and wellness, I also act as an expert commentator when health-related stories hit the news.

For corporate clients, I provide either traditional talks on specific areas of health such as workplace wellness, sleep, fatigue and eating behaviour with the Shrinkology approach, or interactive small-group workshops.

I am a brand ambassador for large health and well-being companies, including the leading supplement provider Healthspan.

Please get in touch for media appearance, presenting and consultancy availability.

Zebra Crossing

My expertise lies within the field of behaviour change, specifically with regard to health, well-being and performance. In use my understanding of the psychological and habitual drivers of behaviour to enable clients to take control and improve both mental and physical health.

This approach is a cornerstone to all my endeavours (therapeutic, research and writing), which includes evidence-based practice and techniques. I work with each individual to develop their own unique personalised programme (as there is no one-size-fits all) with particular attention paid to solution and future-focused techniques.

I offer limited Skype and Central London 1-2-1 sessions for long-term weight maintenance based on the Shrinkology approach and tailored programmes for overall health improvement.

Reading Glasses

I have published over 30 scientific papers in esteemed peer-reviewed journals such as the British Medical Journal (Open), Medical Hypotheses, Journal of Primary Health Care and Psychology Research, and Behavior Management.

Having held senior positions in UK higher education institutes, I now work as a consultant for large-scale health providers.

I am also an active researcher and offer advice on study design, implementation and the communication of both quantitative and qualitative data.

As a social scientist, I believe it’s important to translate complex scientific theories and research for public dissemination and do this wherever possible in my books and media work.
